Obituary: William Roll

William G. Roll, one of the pioneers of the serious study of parapsychology, died this morning.

I highly recommend his work The Poltergeist, and also his book (written with Valerie Storey) Unleashed: Of Poltergeists and Murder—The Curious Story of Tina Resch, which covers one of the most unusual cases he ever investigated.
